Human Rights Day, 10 December, marks the day the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted to protect every human being. The idea was to celebrate it as a birthday we all share. Chosen through a worldwide competition, it became the UN’s first global social media campaign and sparked passionate conversations on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and even Weibo.
