About

Writer, creative director, speaker and mentor.

Ruchi Sharma

Ruchi Sharma is a creative and business leader who drives brand growth, creative transformation and narrative strategy across global markets.

She is trusted to lead in complex, high-stakes environments, particularly during periods of change, turnaround or uncertainty, where creative judgment, cultural fluency and commercial discipline must work together.

Throughout her career, she has built brands, teams and trust on a simple principle: leave organisations stronger than she found them, help people grow beyond the role they occupy, and deliver work that earns long-term confidence. That approach has guided her leadership across global agency networks and independent consultancies, and shapes how she partners with senior stakeholders, clients and teams.

Her work sits at the intersection of storytelling, brand, content and business strategy. She has held leadership roles in New York, Bangkok, Southeast Asia, India and Sri Lanka, navigating global, regional and local structures to create unified brand voices across markets. She is known for stabilising at-risk client relationships, rebuilding creative culture, and turning creative ambition into measurable commercial outcomes.

Ruchi is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of HumanSense, an independent creative consultancy advising global brands, NGOs and public-interest organisations. Recent work includes a pan-European campaign for De’Longhi Group (Braun Appliances) and competitive pitch wins against incumbent global networks for sustainability- and transformation-led initiatives.

Alongside her commercial work, she has led culturally significant projects in human rights and inclusion, including co-creating the UNHRC’s first digitally led global human-rights campaign.

She serves on international industry juries such as the D&AD Impact Council, teaches creativity and creative leadership at Miami Ad School, advises creative award bodies, and supports leadership development through mentoring and advocacy with Women Empowered Global and G-Women Collective, a global body for women in media.

She brings a grounded, human-centred leadership style to every role, balancing creative excellence with accountability, empathy with execution, and purpose with performance.
